Creating an aggregate

You can use the Create Aggregate wizard to create an aggregate based on its required size. The system then automatically selects the disks, or you can choose to manually select the disks.

Steps

1.	From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.

2.	Click Storage > Aggregates.

3.	Click Create to start the Create Aggregate wizard.

4.	Type or select information as requested by the wizard.

5.	Verify that the aggregate you created is included in the list of aggregates in the Aggregates window.
